It comes with same identical mechanicals, suilghtly different outside appearnce. The onyl difference between Taiwan's Primera are as follow, U.S. version gets more softer shocks andslower turning ratio(the touring package G20t restores it), a strongerside-impact protection, a rear anit-roll bar. And it comes with more Luxury feature.==> ¦b (toto) ªº¤å³¹¤¤´£¨ì:If you are buying a car from blue book, you can't get anywhere.Locally in Washington DC area, a base G20 with automaticis 16999++tax+tag+freight.In fact there huge discount on the G20 since no one is buying it.
infiniti g20 : Thanks to everyone who replied to my initial queryon the Infiniti G20/G20t ... to follow-on, wouldanyone care to share their comparisons (from testdriving or ownership) of older Camrys versus theG20/G20t? Handling? Power? [both are 140 HP in4 cylinders] I have a 1991 Camry, am consideringa '95 G20t coming off lease, and need some secondopinions ... thanks in advance,My dad has a 95 Camry LE that I have driven a lot. It drives excellent, really smooth in the town and quiet on highway. I drove it cross countryand it was a great vehical for long traveling. It does lack a lot inpower, though. To tell you the truth, I really would have guessed it hadless than 140 HP - but I guess the size of it makes it slower. The onlyproblem we have had is when braking hard, more towards the end of thebraking, there is a loud grinding noise that I can feel through thebrake pedal. We took this problem to the dealer, and they said it wasjust the accumulation of brake dust, and that it couldn't be helped. Idon't know - but it still does it (only when braking excessively). Theair-conditioning will freeze you - gotta love that! Haven't had anymaintenance problems yet - of course it only has about 37,000 miles onit... infiniti g20 : Oh yeah - one more piece of advice. Don't let your wife drive it throughthe automatic carwash - she may forget to turn off the radio and let thepower antenna lower first. If not - you will no longer have a powerantenna.--The '95 Camry is totally different from the '91 Camry. The '91 Camry is the older version with less curvaceous styling. I know three people who drive Infiniti G20's and they love their cars. Two of them leased brand new '95 G20's and one bought a used '91 (or '92, I forget). They have been extremely reliable and are virtually trouble-free. I've driven a '95 G20 and it's quite a nice car! I'm not sure how much quicker it is than a '91 Camry, but I believe the '91 Camry 4-cylinder put out only 116-120 horsepower...no more than that. The G20's 4-cyl does put out 140 hp, as stated above. The early G20's handled the road extremely well for front-drive sedans, according to the automotive press. Some mags called it the best handling FWD sedan on the market. I think Infiniti softened the suspension slightly a few years later...the '95 falls into the latter category. It still handles well enough though. infiniti g20 : I guess the only loss you'll have in the transition from the Camry to the G20 is interior room...but it's still roomy enough for four average sized adults. From: ()Subject: Re: Infiniti G20 vs Toyota Camry Newsgroups: , , Date: 1997/04/03 In brent horton writes: I see...a man could never forget to do that. Would HAVE to be thewife, huh? Both are excellent vehicles. But if you are thinking about addingperformance to your car - the "G" would be the choice for sure. We canget your G up to 200 hp!! Cool hugh.I recently purchased a 92' G20. At first I didn't like the car, I originalwent to purchase a Intregra. I test drove the car and liked it. Theengine is too small. But, surpising quick. I immediatly fell in love withit. Its small but, gives a feeling of a larger car. You'll probably get a good price. Infinity is discontinuing the G20 ifI recall. From: ()Subject: Re: Infiniti G20 vs Toyota Camry Newsgroups: , , Date: 1997/04/03 Gary L. Things like low profile tires on 15" rims? infiniti g20 : Hi I am in a process of getting a new car but I don't know which one todecided on. I am looking for either a 93-94 Infiniti G20 or a 94 MazdaMX-6. I heard that there are a lots of problems on the MX-6 primarily onthe V-6 which I am aiming for. Although I test drived the MX-6 and I loveit. But know I am getting second thought of getting a MX-6 since I hearda lot of bad things about it. How about the Infiniti G20? Any problemswith that car? Anyone owned a G20 or MX-6? Give me your honest opinion. Please reply. Thank you. The G20 is a very nice car. Very smooth drive, decent pickup, the 5 speedhas a wonderful feel. One thing you might want to be careful of. There was a '93.5 model madewhich added several things, most notably an improved suspension, accordingto one article I read. I drove an early '93 model and it was not nearly as nice to drive as the'95 that I had an opportunity to drive. I'm not sure exactly why there was such a big difference, but perhapssomeone who has more experience could comment? Infiniti also has a wonderful warranty. And I guess I was really impressedby the attitude of the Infiniti dealer here in the area.
