El auto es ingresado como auto de lujo puesto queInfiniti es la linea de lujo de Nissan, algo asi como la estrategiaToyota/Lexus. Por lo que indague, el auto (G20 y Primera) vienen de la misma planta,poseen la misma carroceria, motor, suspension, etc. Solamente se diferenciaen el equipamiento , por ejemplo (Gxe Plu-30) es una de las versiones quellega a los EEUU bajo el nombre de Infiniti G20 por su agresivoequipamiento. En todo caso, cotize este ultimo modelo y estaba a 11.590.000.
infiniti auto : I was watching TV here in Santa Barbara last night, and one of those "cool"black and white Infiniti auto ads came on. It featured Infiniti's regularspokesperson, Jonathan Pryce, walking into a nightclub where there wasa woman singing...the face and the voice looked startling familiar...I'malmost sure it was Nichelle Nichols. Then, at the end, a female voice says"Thinking of you....Infiniti". Once again, I heard the voice of our favoritecomm officer.Does anyone else hear the same thing? infiniti auto : I have a 1991 Q45a. The ACTSUS warning lite is coming on and offintermittently. I believe that the active suspension system is starting tofail. At the recent LA auto show a sales person mention some Infiniti backedprogram that pays a stipend towards repair of the AS system. Can anyoneconfirm this rumor? Has anyone else had their active susp. system repaired?If so how much did it cost? At 32,000 miles the ride of the car started to change. I thought itwas because I had put just one new tire on the rear of the car rather than 2new tires. Eventually I replaced all the tires and this did not solve theproblem. After a while I took the car to a dealer to see if they could solvethe problem. That evening when I came back to pick up the car, the guy tookme into his private office and suggested that I sit down. It was just likein a movie! Unbelievable! He then told me that my fully active suspension system required a$10,000 repair and the repair would then be warranted for only one year. Iwas shocked. The guy told me to call up Infiniti Customer Service to ask ifthey would help out in the repair costs. He also told me not to mention thathe had suggested I call.
infiniti auto : I told Customer Service my problem and eventually I was called backby a supervisor. She told me that the dealer had agreed to pay half and Iwould pay the rest ($5,000). I told her that paying $5,000 and only gettinga one year warrantee did not make sense because there could be an inherentdesign flaw to this brand new design and if so the system would fail againafter just 32,000 miles. She quickly withdrew her offer. I was shocked againand told her so. It seemed to me that I was dealing with a used car hustlerand not a "luxury car manufacturer's" customer relations supervisor. Shethen told me she would give me a week to let her know if I would take thedeal and told me what time it was at the moment and that her offered was toexpire exactly one week from that moment. This treatment by Infiniti Corporate shot holes into the Infinitifacade of top notch treatment of an Infiniti auto purchaser. They were infact actually "Ford or GM" behind the fancy smiling front they put on forthe public.
infiniti auto : I reluctantly decided that the investment was a shaky one and didnot make economic sense. I drove the car without the repair and things slowly got worse andworse. At 54,000 miles the car was so bad that it was dangerous to drive soI stopped driving it. I decided to wait until the third generation Q was tocome out since the 2nd generation Q was so different and therefore not thekind of car I wanted to own. A year later the 3rd generation came out tomixed reviews. The present consensus is that it is not the special car thatthe originals are. My Q45a has now been sitting in my garage for almost 2 years.
