Mostly everyone is bashing the styling over on Performance Years. I gotta say it does look too jelly bean shaped like all the other cars on the road. I definitely doesn't have any uniqueness like the original GTO did.am I the only one that sees too much of a resemblance to the Grand Prix?from the photos i've seen the family heritage is in the front fascia but itlooks too generec grand prix. 2004 acura rsx : My girlfriend is interested in purchasing an Acura RSX Type S. We testdrove it, and I liked it (after all, that is what is important, isn't it?;) )... I don't know anything about Acrua's more over anything about theType S, so I was hoping that some people here could shed some wisdom onme.1. I know that the car is new, but are their any outstanding issues thatare annoying or hard to resolve?2. For owners of this car, what is your opinion beyond the fact that youactually got the car, so you probably like it! What are some things youdon't like about it?3. I have not heard anything about the 2003 RSX Type S... are there anychanges in the looks or performance in the 2003? In winter, when the car is cold, 2nd gear is a bit 'sticky'...it doesn't like to go in. This appears to vary from car to car. For me, when the outside temp hits 40F, it doesn't happen any more.

I wish it had an armrest, power seats, a center storagecompartment for things like CDs, lighted vanity mirrors, and the thingy thatcan be programmed to open my garage door (like my Odyssey van has). I am alsonot overwhelmingly impressed with the Bose stereo, although it's not horrible.I bought this car because it's a screamin' hoot to drive. I also like the"Acura quality" it's got with a very reasonable price tag. It's a nice sportscoupe that is simply the best in it's class, IMHO.By the way, MP3.com lets musicians post photos, so I put up a few pix of myRSX-S at:(Desert silver metallic with underbody spoilers and fog lights.)For question number three, the RSX Type-R is suppost to come to America in2004 hopefully. The Japan release of the Type-R is already out and it looksso awesome. The Type-R has I think 230HP and has a lil more options in itthen the Type-S. Personally I'm waiting for the Type-R to come to Americabecause I know it'll be worth the wait.
2004 acura rsx : I got my RSX Type S last week, so what you'll read here are firstimnpressions.Nothing to mention here so far, which is the least you can expect froma 7-days old car! hmmm...- The bucket seats heaters could use a "low" setting. They can onlybe on or off. I live in Canada; I heard this was not offered on theUS model, is it true?- The audio system is OK, but I thought it would sound better. I findthe speakers a bit weak in the lower-mid frequencies. Maybe after theaudio break-in period this will be better.- The moon roof is very small when you used to drive a Miata :)- But just push down the throttle and you forget about the Miata!- I could live with a better insonorisation from the air flow noise. The engine sound level is just perfect for my taste, but some peoplefind it a bit too high.Besides that, everything else is more than perfect on this car.Agreed. I can't be more specific than this, but some CDs (and maybe some kindsof music) sound better than others. And the subwoofer can cause some strangethings to happen with the bass. The stereo needs to be cranked to be heardover the engine when winding it out at high revs.... This is not a car bestsuited for listening to Beethoven piano sonatas or subtle new age music. Hardrock or dance music works best. :)
2004 acura rsx : I didn't know that. Subaru screwed up then. Having an NI motor IMHOis one of the big pluses of ownership.
